STARTER MEMORY
Mar. 4th, 2014 04:54 pmReceived: Started out with this!
Details:
there's a bunch of scared, nervous kids around ten or eleven milling about in what looks like a giant arena, and all of them are dressed in shabby grey shirts and they all have the same shaved haircut. it looks like some kind of military operation; there's even a symbol on the wall that's like a weird fist thing. there's some hushed chatter between the kids that abruptly falls silent when the lights dim and a booming voice resonates through the area.
BASICALLY it's a sparring match. testing skills. the voice goes on to dictate that he wants to break bones, rip tear shred and if someone dies that's fine, the point is to cause as much damage to each other as possible to "break you in".
"you're here to win, and you're going to do that. win."
NEEDLESS TO SAY it turns out as well as you'd might expect. and Elias tries but he's just as... pitiful ( though maybe more punching ability ) and he's gotten on his back and there's someone hitting him and he's crying and there's lots of horrible crunching noises and
then that's pretty much it.
what was learned:
- wow i really suck at fighting
- i must fight all the things
- i must win all the time
- ... god i really suck at fighting huh
